"Waiheke Island".  The name conjures up so much that is great;  Waiheke Island is a diverse community with so many cultures represented and is a destination for all of Auckland and beyond.

On Sunday evening 22 October, at The Batch Winery, the Waiheke Rotary club celebrated its 20th anniversary. With past and present members and guests attending, along with District Governor Malini Raghwan, a very enjoyable night of comparisons of eras was had to the jazz tunes by Paul TT.
The Rotary club of Waiheke continues to achieve a tremendous amount of good in the local community and also in our district which includes the Pacific Islands .

Respected in this vibrant community this dynamic club has for the last 20 years been making a difference with projects and events big and small.  Think Onetangi Beach Races and the Wharf to Wharf fun run/walk or just a local BBQ to help the 'Rough Sleepers' sunraising group providing some support for the homeless.
