On Saturday 25 May when Aucklanders were outside  enjoying the sunshine, the majority of the Interact Clubs in Schools throughout our District got together to share ideas and meet other like minded students and Rotaractors from Auckland University and Auckland City.

Some of these Rotaractors were part of their school Interact Club and together, they share their experiences and their "Rotary moment".

The newest Interact Club from Tuakau College presented their fun events as well as community spirit of planting fruit trees at Tuakau Bridge.

Students from Auckland Grammar, Rosehill College and Macleans College presented their innovative ways of fundraising, doing good with their charity of choice - from Food Bank Collection to Christchurch Attack, Cystic Fibrosis, Assistance Dogs to Days For Girls and Heart Foundation.

These young enthusiastic students bring plenty of energy to the event which was held at Dilworth School, attended by DG Nominee Craig Horrocks, Peter Ross (Newmarket); George Wilson (Papakura); John Overall (Newmarket); Adriaan Van Wetering (Remuera); Gerry Henderson (Mt Eden); Davendra Kumar (Tuakau); George Woodcock (Pakuranga) and District 9910 Interact Chair, Clive Menkin.

Watch this space for more exciting community projects involving all of the Interact Clubs from District 9920.
