Family.  We want our children to enjoy happy, productive lives.  As parents and family members we want to be able to enjoy getting out with our children and family to play and learn, to take part in what our community has to offer and to be able to contribute back in some way.  For some this is unfortunately a challenge.
 
Kidney failure is not just a personal tragedy, it affects everyone associated with the affected person and is a disease that can affect people of all ages, including children.
The Rotary Foundation has supported the purchase and installation of four Dialysis machines for Apia Hospital in Samoa islands through a Global Grant.  The Host Club of the Rotary Club of Apia and the supporting clubs are the Rotary Club of Ishioka, D.2820, Japan (International Primary Partner), Rotary E-Club 9920 Francophone, D.9920 and clubs and districts in Thailand, Japan and Finland.
 
The Rotary clubs and districts contribution was USD27,500 and with the Global Grant (World Fund) of USD24,250 the total that made this project possible is USD51,750
 
This project not only helps the needs of the Community, but will also save so so many lives...
