After last year’s successful inaugural event when $76K was raised by combined Districts 9910 & 9920, we promised with your support to bring together a Bigger, Better, Bolder repeat this year.  This years event is being planned for World Polio Day, Friday 23 October (TBC). Standby!

 

Among some of the improvements are: D9910 will be including ferries so their north shore clubs can more easily participate and your Polio All Trains committee will work harder to get media outlets more engaged. With the announcement this week that we now have a safe bubble of 5M people in Aotearoa triggering the government’s announcement of Alert Level 1, we are hoping Auckland Transport will agree to the event planned for World Polio Day , Friday 23 October.
