RCA Jubilee Scholarship

This RCA fund was established on the Golden Jubilee of our Club in 1971. In 1983 it was merged with an appeal which raised $20,000 as a tribute to John Seabrook the sole surviving Charter member of the Club. In 1989 a further $30,000 was donated by Jim Lavelle. In 1992 the funds passed $100,000 with the addition of $30,000 raised to record the contribution to the Club of David Steen for many years the Club’s Treasurer. Other major donations of $10,000 each were made by Peter Hanson and Peter Menzies. The fund was in a spearate trust but that was merged with the RCA Foundation in 2013. The Club members in the Task Group deal with the use of the funds for scholarships.
