Rotary is making a difference in Tonga … a big difference. When Rotary acts together with the community the difference is even bigger and the community love it especially when it is an event where the whole family can have such fun.
Recently, Nuku’alofa Rotary Club had a joint event with Tonga Golf Club and Tonga Archery Club, to raise some funds to support Rotary Ends Polio initiative of Rotary International, under the sponsorship of Tui Meat and informational support of Whats On In Tonga and Radio Nuku'alofa 88.6FM.

This annual event, a Kids' Golf Day and Golf Tournament, turned up to be a great success and and tremendous fun for all. Kids had a Golf master-class with Capitan of Tonga Golf Club, Governor of Tonga Reserve Bank, Mr. Ngongo Kioa, adults were enjoying beautiful weather.

Rotary BBQ was particularly nice, because we had Tongan archer Arne Jensen, a winner of Bronze medal in Pacific Mini-Games 2017, helping us with sizzling sausages. T$740.00 was raised on the BBQ, and T$1000.00 had been donated by the Tonga Golf Club.

All the funds had been transferred to Rotary International for the End Polio Campaign.
